Kristian Fleming was born and raised in central Montana, finding his way to Austin, TX in 2015 to earn a Masters of Science in Social Work, with a focus on administrative policy and practice, at the University of Texas at Austin. During his time there, he earned a certificate in Nonprofit Studies from the RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service, worked as a graduate assistant for the Texas Grants Resource Center (formerly known as the Regional Foundation Library), and studied as an intern under the Executive Director of Austin Child Guidance Center. After spending a few years in hospitality management, Kristian decided to combine his passion for social advocacy and hospitality and made a foray into Human Resources, finding a home with Texas Campaign for the Environment as Human Resources Manager in 2024. Kristian believes, wholeheartedly, in the power of community and is committed to being of service to others.
