Charlie Clowdus, a lifelong resident of Texas, has lived in Corpus Christi with their family since 2018. They started canvassing with Texas Rising in 2022 as a sophomore in college that focused on voter registration and youth organizing, and joined TCE as a part-time canvasser for the 2022 Clean Slate election. As they became deeper involved in the community, their love for the Coastal Bend grew, and they joined TCE in 2023 as a full-time Field Organizer focused on working with community leaders to combat petrochemicals. They believe in uplifting the voices of those affected most by fossil fuel expansion, and standing with local communities to give power back to the people. In their free time, they enjoy writing fantasy and poetry and exploring the world of fashion.
