Texas Campaign for the Environment is now focused on trash and recycling policies for this century. Currently, most of our products are not designed for recycling and wind up in landfills or incinerators. Especially in Texas where we have weak standards for trash facilities, this can result in pollution of our water, air and soil.

TCE is pushing policies to beef up and enforce standards on trash facilities and require producers to take back their obsolete products so they have a bottom line incentive to design their products for recycling.
